The 2007 Youth Waterfowl Opener was a great success.
Day 1 saw brothers Cody and Chase, and cousin Thomas bag 15 ducks.
The following day, Kaden joined forces with his three cousins to
bring down another 12 ducks.
A special thanks to Uncle Jim and his son Zach for
their time and effort to set up the decoys, and line up the land to
hunt on. A heartfelt thanks to Barry Cox for allowing these
young hunters on his land to experience this memorable hunt.
After all the birds were cleaned and lunch was
finished, the mighty hunters decided to try their hand at fishing.
The fishing success wasn't as good as the hunting as you can see by
the following pictures. It might have had something to do with
getting up really early to shoot ducks.
